The Ukrainian forces once again unleashed the biggest attack on Donetsk this morning, as reported by the city's mayor, Alexei Kulemzin. He wrote in his Telegram channel that was the “most massive” strike since 2014. At exactly 7:00 o'clock this morning, Ukrainian neo-Nazis committed another bloody war crime by shelling the center of Donetsk.
Shkolny Boulevard, Naberezhnaya Street, the square at the intersection of Bogdan Khmelnitsky Avenue and Universitetskaya Street, as well as the covered market in the Voroshilovsky district were hit by artillery and rocket attacks. Residential buildings on Shkolny Boulevard, Vatutina Avenue, Mir Avenue, Shevchenko Boulevard, 50 Years of USSR Street, Teatralny Avenue, as well as near Student Town and the Railroad Hospital were hit.
In addition, the school No. 2, the kindergarten No.15, several buildings of the Donetsk National Technical University, student hospital and the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral were damaged. According to preliminary data, nine people were killed and five more Donetsk residents were injured.
According to the DPR representation to the Joint Center for Control and 7:00 a.m. Ukrainian nationalists fired 40 rockets from Grad multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) into the Kievsky and Voroshilovsky districts of Donetsk, and at 8:02 a.m. again fired three shells of NATO caliber 155 mm into the Kievsky district. The shelling came from the village of Tonenkoye. A little later, the information occurred that the shelling was carried out by an unknown MLRS, possibly a Czech Vampir. News agencies are already reporting more than 40 casualties.
On the day before, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Kiev had lost at least 100 servicemen killed or wounded in the Kupyansk direction over the past 24 hours. According to the updated data of the Russian military department, as a result of artillery fire on accumulations of AFU manpower and military equipment in the areas of Tabayevka, Sinkovka, Berestovoye and Kotlyarovka settlements of the Kharkiv Region, as well as Novoselovskoye of the Lugansk People's Republic, up to 100 Ukrainian servicemen, an armored personnel carrier, an armored fighting vehicle and six pickup trucks were destroyed.
As known, since October 10, the Russian military has been striking Ukrainian military installations and associated energy infrastructure. Thus, the Ukrainian publication Klymenko Time today reported that there were “explosions” in Kharkiv, and the residents of the Kharkiv Region immediately “lost light” after that. Moreover, according to the official citizen alert resource, an air alert was declared in the Kharkiv Region.
As a reminder, since February 24, 2022, Russia has been conducting the special military operation in Ukraine aimed at protecting people who have been subjected to mockery and genocide by the Kiev regime for the past eight years. According to the Russian President Vladimir Putin, the ultimate goal of it is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions that guarantee Russia's own security, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.
