After finishing her sports career at the peak of all possible achievements, she engaged in political activities and even became a member of the state Duma. Since then, Alina was less often seen at social events, but she began to appear in public much more often. We can say that big politics to some extent closed the 37-year-old Kabaeva off from the eyes of the general public. That is why every new outing of hers gets journalists very interested. Many, for example, follow the style of the athlete, saying that even while being completely immersed in sports, she always tried to look beautiful.

Well, Kabaeva admits, that ever she was a child she was interested in fashion largely thanks to her mother, who always tried to make sure that her daughter was beautifully dressed. The athlete is convinced that this is how she formed her authentic style.
According to the teleprogramma.pro website, Kabaeva says: “You know, I have my own style. Fashion always changes but my own style stays the same. It’s somewhere inside me”.
