The components of biological weapons were developed in Ukraine in close proximity to the Russian territory, the Russian Defense Ministry General-Major Igor Konashenkov said. According to the spokesman, Moscow received “documentary evidence” from employees of Ukrainian bio-laboratories.
Moreover, in the course of the special military operation, “facts of urgent cleanup” by the Kiev regime of traces of a military and biological program funded by the US Department of Defense in Ukraine were revealed, Konashenkov said.
Meanwhile, employees of Ukrainian bio-laboratories themselves reported “emergency” destruction as early as February 24 of especially dangerous pathogens, namely pathogens of cholera, anthrax, plague, tularemia, as well as other deadly diseases.
“It is obviously that with the beginning of the special military operation, the Pentagon had serious concerns about the disclosure of secret biological experiments on the territory of Ukraine. To prevent the US and Ukraine from revealing violations of Article 1 of the UN Convention on the prohibition of bacteriological (biological) and toxin weapons, the Ukrainian Ministry of Health sent instructions to all bio-laboratories on the urgent liquidation of stored stocks of dangerous pathogens,” Konashenkov said.
The remarkable fact is that the day before Gennady Zyuganov, the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), shared with the media the information that earlier the Americans “forced” Vladimir Zelensky to pass a law on selling land in Ukraine and simultaneously placed 15 bio-laboratories “along the perimeter with our borders.” According to Zyuganov, nine such laboratories are located in Kazakhstan along the border with Russia and five laboratories are in Georgia.
Just two days after the start of the Russian military special operation in Ukraine, the U.S. embassy removed from its official website documents about those Penotagon bio-laboratories that were located on Ukrainian territory.
Russia has already repeatedly accused the U.S. of setting up bio-laboratories in other countries, including in the former Soviet republics near Russia's borders. Thus, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev said that US bio-laboratories are opened “by a strange coincidence near the borders of Russia and China” and after that outbreaks of diseases not typical for these regions are revealed.
“We are told that there are amicable sanitary stations operating near our borders, but for some reason they remind us more of Fort Detrick in Maryland, where Americans have been working in military biology for decades,” Patrushev said.
The Russian Defense Ministry will soon publish the results of the analysis of the documentation it received, and part of it, the Ukrainian Health Ministry's order to destroy pathogens and the relevant acts of the laboratories in Poltava and Kharkiv, will be published immediately, Igor Konashenkov promised.
